The lodge is located in a beautiful, idyllic bay about 15 kilometres from the centre of Muscat. The small, family friendly resort offers accommodation in traditional well-equipped and air-conditioned huts, which are situated directly on the sandy and tranquil beach of the bay. The centre of the resort is the spacious, fully-equipped dive centre, swimming pool and sun-deck.

Extra Divers is a PADI 5-Star Gold Palm centre and is equipped with all necessary teaching material in English as well as a number of other languages. The normal schedule offers one, two-dive, morning excursion and one, one-dive, afternoon excursion. Night dives, wreck dives and day excursions to the nature reserve of Daymaniyat Islands north of Muscat are offered regularly. Bandar Jussa provides five excellent dive sites with wonderful corals and boulders to swim around.

The house reef is situated at the end of the bay only 3 minutes from the dive centre. Its shallow depth (up to 15 metres) makes this site very suitable for training and night dives. Plenty of cuttlefish, spiny lobster and the odd turtle have been spotted.
