Named after the famous Chinese mariner, explorer, diplomat and fleet admiral whose maritime explorations predated Christopher Columbus, the Cheng Ho is the newest and biggest vessel in the Kararu Dive Voyages fleet. With a length of 49 metres, three decks and 13 cabins, catering for a maximum of 20 divers, this liveaboard offers total comfort and plenty of room to lose ones self between dives.

Cabins and staterooms have private bathrooms and ample hot water, wireless email access and air-conditioning. The cabins are cleaned twice a day, with a nightly turn down service and there is a very high staff to guest ratio. Amenities include equipment service areas, a separate library and a lounge area with a music collection plus current movies and documentaries relevant to the area. Expertly equipped to suit long range liveaboard scuba diving and underwater photography, the Cheng Ho offers Nitrox and rental equipment and all diving is from tenders. Relax after your dives in the air-conditioned comfort of the large saloon or on deck, under the shade of one of the ship's huge sails.
