Bahamas Caribbean Explorer II

More than seven hundred islands covering around 2500 square kilometres of ocean make up The Bahamas. Many of these islands are uninhabited and they can vary widely in history, atmosphere and diving opportunities. Sailing on the liveaboard Caribbean Explorer II is an ideal way to experience the remote islands, marine life and great dive sites of the Southern Bahamas.

Departing every Saturday from George Town on Greater Exuma, the Caribbean Explorer II offers divers the opportunity to explore the fabulous Southern Bahamian islands of San Salvador, Conception Island, Cat Island, Long island and the Exumas. Scheduling up to five dives daily including night dives, the vessel will offer up to 5 .5 days of diving each week. With a variety of dive sites from close-up reefs and walls to swim-throughs and drop-offs, along with the amazing range of marine life including a variety of sharks from Caribbean Reef and Nurse to Great Hammerhead, Tiger and Bull, a visit to the Southern Bahamas on Caribbean II is a great choice for both beginner divers and the more experienced.

The 35-metre Caribbean Explorer II accommodates up to eighteen passengers in nine comfortable staterooms all with en suite bathrooms. The semi-enclosed, airconditioned salon on the upper deck includes TV, VCR, CD/DVD, video library, light table and an extensive array of professional audio/visual editing, dubbing and special effects systems. There is a large sundeck and well equipped dive deck. Dives are from an easyaccess dive platform and Nitrox is available onboard.
