- Day 1. Sal Island to Sao Vicente [B]
- Transfer to your accommodation in Mindelo, the island's capital.
- Days 2 & 3. Sao Vicente [B]
- Mindelo is a multi-cultural town with a community of artists, musicians, intellectuals and an intensive nightlife. Sao Vicente has spectacular beaches; Sao Pedro is rated as one of the world's best for wind surfing. February and August sees two of Cape Verde's liveliest festivals Mindelo's Carnival and the three day Baia das Gatas.
- Day 4. Sao Vicente to Santo Antao [B]
- Early morning ferry to Porto Novo, Santo Antao. On arrival your transfer, to Ponta do Sol or Ribeira Grande, includes a walk from the volcanic crater Cova to Vale do Paul, Janela and Vila das Pombas - the walk involves a steep descent and suitable footwear is essential. Rest of the day free. Santo Antao is the most spectacular of all of the Cape Verde Islands with a mountain range dividing the island into North and South and presenting excellent opportunities for walking and hiking.
- Day 5. Santo Antao [B]
- Morning walk to Fontainhas with afternoon visits to Cha d' Igreja and Cruzinha da Garca.
- Day 6. Porto Novo to Sao Vicente [B]
- Transfer to your accommodation then enjoy a half-day visit to the towns of Mindelo, Baia das Gatas, Calhau and Praia Grande
- Day 7. Flight from Sao Vicente to Sal [B]
- Upon arrival in Sal you will have the rest of the day free.
- Day 8. Homeward [B]
- Transfer to Sal Airport for your return flight to the U.K.
