Bora Bora & Moorea

17 days London to London

Day 1. Depart the UK for Tahiti via Los Angeles
Day 2. Connect onwards to Moorea by boat, 7-nights [B]
Moorea, the sister island to Tahiti is a land of history and legend. Its many white sand beaches, the wide variety of its coral seabed and the richness of its underwater life make Moorea a very special destination.

Moorea has an international reputation for its impressive shark dives and is one of the places in Tahiti that you might encounter Humpback Whales. The short flight from Papeete, allows you a first glimpse of Moorea's craggy volcanic peaks, reflected in the tranquil waters of Cook and Oponohu Bays. This area is ideal for the less experienced diver and for those wishing to learn to dive in calm, clear waters, which teem with dense schools of small, brightly coloured fish. For the more experienced diver there is the impressive shark and eel encounters, a sunken ship and a big friendly Napoleon Wrasse as well as rays, Jackfish and barracudas. What ever you do, don't miss 'Belvedere Lookout', which is probably the most spectacular lookout in the world and best viewed early in the morning.

Day 9. Fly to Bora Bora, 7-nights [B]
Bora Bora is unquestionably the most mythical of the Pacific islands, picture perfect it is the ionic island of all dreams. Set in one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world and home to the dramatic peak of Mount Otemanu. Bora Bora's central, lush green island is surrounded by a myriad of islets nestling in a lagoon, which is inhabited by abundant marine-life, both large and small.

Manta Rays and sharks are encountered at the dive sites both inside and outside the lagoon. Watch the giant Manta Rays glide pass at the 'Manta Rays Dance' or see the teeming Grey Sharks and Barracudas at 'The White Valley'. The Leopard Rays Trench is renowned for the beauty of its crystal clear waters. Bora Bora also has fine coral and a wide variety of smaller fish and marine life.
