The Visayas is home to the thresher sharks of Malapascua, Dauin's outstanding macro life and numerous wonderful wall and reef dives.
Many itineraries tend to focus on the southern region (June, July, October) with highlights including Dauin, Balicasag and Moalboal. Extended itineraries include time at Malapascua (November to February & July to September) affording guests the chance of a thresher shark encounter at Monad Shoal.
Visayas liveaboard itineraries vary in length from six to twelve nights and the majority begin/end in Cebu, Moalboal or Malapascua where it's possible to extend your stay in resort.
Day2: Arrive and overnight in resort before joining your liveaboard
Days3-8: Begin your Southern Visayas adventure
This morning, make way to the liveaboard to begin your adventure. Enjoy up to four dives a day dependent on the daily schedule.
The Southern Visayas itineraries vary from six to ten nights, exploring a combination of dive sites in Dauin, Moalboal, Cabilao and Bohol. This region is known for its exceptional diversity from mating mandarin fish and flamboyant cuttlefish to thresher sharks and the possibility of a whale shark encounter.
Day9: Disembark and transfer to resort in Moalboal
After your liveaboard adventure, spend two additional nights relaxing in resort. It's possible to arrange additional diving on request.
Southern Visayas itineraries begin/end in Cebu or Moalboal, depending on the itinerary.
Day11: Depart the Philippines
Day12: Arrive UK

This central region of islands is deservedly famous for beautiful beaches, relaxed lifestyle and stunning dive sites. Cebu City is the international gateway and provides links to the most exciting dive spots including Malapascua, Moalboal, Dumaguete and Bohol.

Known as the ‘City of Gentle People’, you’ll be welcomed in Dumaguete with open arms and first class hospitality. Further down the coast, Dauin has some of the best critters in the Philippines, and both areas also offer plenty of opportunity for snorkellers and non-divers.

Across the channel from Cebu is the beautiful island of Bohol, a tropical haven of natural beauty, with pristine beaches and colourful coral dive sites for both divers and snorkelers to enjoy. Land attractions include the resident tarsiers and the world-famous Chocolate Hills.
Ideal for viewing: green turtle, western clownfish, banded sea krait, giant frogfish, barracuda
Excellent for: Resort based diving, Luxury diving, Reef diving
Meaning ‘bubbling stream’, Moalboal is a small town on the island of Cebu, with around 25 recognised dive sites and more being discovered. The range of diving is excellent, with vertical walls, a cathedral like cave, healthy coral reefs and plenty of macro life.

Surrounded by white sandy beaches, the little island of Malapascua has gained a reputation as one of the best places in the world for thresher shark sightings, encountered each morning at Monad Shoal. Numerous other sharks are also seen, as well as mantas.
Ideal for viewing: pelagic thresher shark, scalloped hammerhead shark, banded sea krait, mandarin fish, common cuttlefish

Located to the west of Bohol, the small island of Cabilao is renowned for the rich biodiversity of marine life found on its fringing reef. It’s a great escape, and the island can be explored on foot or if you prefer, you can simply enjoy life from your hammock!
