Your dive safari includes a whale shark encounter, the chance to see manta rays and thresher sharks and a unique opportunity to dive some secret dive spots on some remote tropical islands with rays, sharks a wreck and plenty of critters - we can't tell you too much else, it's a secret!
With a maximum of eight divers on board, these dive safaris are a great option for everyone, but book early to avoid disappointment!
Day1: Depart the UK
Day2: Arrive Manila and overnight
You'll be met on arrival and transferred to your chosen accommodation for an overnight stay. Rest up before your adventure!
Days3-5: Whale shark and manta ray encounters
Begin your six or ten night dive adventure.
Early start this morning as you take a domestic flight to Legaspi where you'll meet the other members of the group. From here transfer to Donsol for an amazing whale shark encounter (snorkelling) and later in the afternoon, head out to Ticao Island Resort for three nights on a full board basis. Your stay at Ticao includes two days diving (6 dives) at the Manta Bowl and local sites. Plenty of encounters to be had!
Days6-8: Philippine Secrets and Malapascua
Discover pristine dive sites as you head on your dive safari from Ticao to Malapascua. Your transfer includes three dives at different sites along the way (weather dependant) which could include a reef shark nursery at Tarnate, beautiful reefs and marine life at the Maripipi and Kirikiti Islands and the Dona Marilyn wreck amongst others.
On arrival in Malapascua (early evening) transfer to Tepanee Resort, your next home for three nights. Your stay in Malapascua includes two days diving (6 dives) on a variety of local sites. Critters, sharks and plenty of marine life!
Day9: Depart Cebu
Today you will transferred back to Cebu airport to board your flight back to the UK.
Due to flight schedules, it may be essential to add an extra night in Cebu prior to departing back to the UK. Your travel consultant will advise accordingly.
Day10: Arrive UK
You should note: The dive safaris are 6 or 10 nights long and operate from Donsol to Malapascua (Itinerary 1) or in reverse (Itinerary 2). Departure dates indicated are for the boat schedule.

The small coastal town of Donsol in the northeast of the Philippines offers a rare opportunity to interact with whale sharks. Between the months of December and May, visitors head here to swim and snorkel with these harmless and gentle filter feeders.

Surrounded by white sandy beaches, the little island of Malapascua has gained a reputation as one of the best places in the world for thresher shark sightings, encountered each morning at Monad Shoal. Numerous other sharks are also seen, as well as mantas.
