Recommended for wreck diving enthusiasts, this itinerary is dedicated to exploring as many of the 14 wrecks of Grenada as possible, over five days of diving.

From freighters to cruise ships, the wrecks are scattered in the Marine Park, in the sheltered waters of the Caribbean and the more exposed Atlantic. These underwater treasures are popular amongst wreck diving enthusiasts, especially the ‘Bianca C’, a cruise ship which caught fire in 1961 and broke apart as she was towed out of St George’s harbour.

This trip idea is suitable for experienced divers who are Nitrox qualified, as well as those looking to further their diving education. The week of diving is dedicated to exploring as many wrecks as possible, a must for enthusiasts.

The Shakem sank in May 2001 after its cargo (cement) was waterlogged on an overnight crossing from Trinidad. Fully intact, the boat is covered in a forest of black corals and gorgonians

Famous for its resident nurse sharks, the King Mitch sank in 1981 following a bilge-pump failure.

The one that continues to inspire wreck diving enthusiasts is the Bianca C, a 183 metre long cruise ship which met its watery end in October 1961. She caught fire and, after burning for two days, broke up as she was being towed out of the harbour.
