NEW! Expert led adventure: St Helena in Style

One of the most remote inhabited islands in the world, previously only accessible by a five-day boat journey, the beautiful island of St Helena is mainly untouched.

Now accessible by air, St Helena has become one of the world’s newest and most exciting destinations for divers and nature lovers. Be among the first to dive and snorkel in the beautiful and varied ocean that surrounds the island.

Large numbers of fully grown male and female whale sharks mysteriously aggregate in St Helena’s warm waters every year, leading to suggestions that St Helena is a key breeding ground for the species.

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to visit St Helena with cameraman and marine conservationist Danny Copeland in prime whale shark season. On this expert-led adventure, you will stay in the luxurious Mantis St Helena hotel for seven nights, spending the days exploring the varied dive sites and stunning marine life St Helena has to offer.

Aside from whale sharks, the island is home to the oldest living animal on Earth, a 186-year-old tortoise, dolphins, Chilean devil rays and historic shipwrecks.

Leading this trip is the charismatic Danny Copeland. Born and raised in North Wales, Danny is a marine conservationist and experienced diver who has dived all seven continents. With a passion for protecting our oceans, he has furthered the conservation of several species of sharks and rays. As an underwater multimedia specialist, he has also worked with the BBC, National Geographic, and as a field producer for the award-winning Netflix documentary, Chasing Coral.

This trip includes a donation to work of the Blue Marine Foundation, who work closely with the St Helena National Trust to protect and conserve this special place.
