Silfra

When to go

Iceland is a year round destination, but the best season for diving is Jun-Sep (visibility is over 100 metres at Silfra). More experienced divers can dive in the winter.

    Jun to Sep: Warmer waters, the best visibility and almost 24 hours of daylight make this the most popular time to visit.
  • Winter

    Oct to May: The winter days are short, but not as cold as you may expect. This is an excellent time to see the aurora borealis.
