Western Samoa offers a world with a unique culture and untouched natural beauty - fulfilling the ideal of the tropical South Seas. The island group of Western Samoa is surrounded by a protecting reef, with beautiful turquoise lagoons encircling most of the islands.

Explore numerous dive sites with scenic walls, canyons and reefs inhabited by colourful reef fish and schools of trevally, turtles, tuna and lionfish, nudibranchs, Eagle Rays, clown fish plus many types of hard and soft corals. Sites located inside and outside the reef may be dived from the shore and from boats; whilst some are suitable for snorkelling or diving, such as Palolo Deep Marine Reserve at Vaiala Beach which is almost an aquarium for free divers and perfectly safe for inexperienced divers.

Samoa is an excellent destination in which to learn to dive, or to advance diving skills. With dive operators offering a full range of certificates, including PADI, IDEA, PIRA, DAN and DIA training programmes. Equipment rental and night diving is also available on request.
