Pura Vida Cabilao (formerly Cabilao Beach Club) is a small beachfront eco-resort on the small island of Cabilao just off the coast of Bohol in the Visayas region of the Philippines.
Featuring 20 rooms in three categories (suite, deluxe, standard) the clean, spacious rooms all feature en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and a verandah. Whilst they all offer views overlooking the Bohol Sea, the standard rooms are located near the dive centre on the beachfront and the others are higher on the hillside.
The cliff-top restaurant offers panoramic ocean views and serves delicious local and international cuisine. A great place to relax and unwind on the exotic white sandy palm fringed beaches.
Open daily, the PADI affiliated dive centre is located on the beachfront just beside the hotel. They operate up to four boat dives a day and a full range of diving courses whether you are furthering your education or would like to learn.
Divers can expect to see giant gorgonians and sponges adorned with macro life including several species of pygmy seahorse. Enjoy drift dives and the chance to encounter schools of barracuda, turtles and plenty of critters. Water temperature ranges from 26-30C. Nitrox is available.
