The dive centre is located on the jetty and features a reception and equipment room. The welcoming and experienced team offer a full range of courses (SSI & PADI) and up to four boat dives daily from one of the three modern, diver friendly fibreglass boats.
Most dive sites are within 15 minutes of the resort on the Maratua Atoll. One of the most renowned, ‘Big Fish Country’ is only five minutes away. This channel dive is famous for its schooling barracuda as well as other pelagic species enjoying the nutrient rich currents. Expect to be captivated by the marine life here, at the heart of the Coral Triangle, whether it’s seahorse, nudibranch and frogfish or turtles, sharks and rays that excites you.
Whilst there are regular sightings of eagle rays, jacks, bumphead parrot fish and schools of dolphin accompanying the boat, the underwater highlights include the wonderful walls and a snorkel at Kakaban’s non-stinging jellyfish lake as well as the turtles and manta rays at Sangalaki.
