Kalimaya Dive Centre

The dedicated dive resort offers daily boat diving throughout the year to three world renowned locations, in addition to the incredible house reef with its plethora of rare and unusual marine life. The diving experience includes a nearby manta cleaning station, pristine reefs, muck and current dives.

Each morning, the professional and experienced crew head out to the western fringes of Komodo National Park. Expect thrilling drift dives and schooling pelagics around Gili Banta, where several species of sharks and rays are often seen. The hard and soft coral reef structures include residents such as mandarin fish, bumblebee shrimp, colourful fish and turtles. The famous black sand muck sites of Sangaeng Volcano provide the perfect backdrop for a plethora of marine life. If weird and wonderful critters are high on your list, this is a must visit - expect nudibranch, pipefish, pygmy seahorse and so much more.

Relatively unexplored, the Sumbawa coastline offers incredible treasures and diversity of marine life. Enjoy unlimited house reef diving in the afternoon, when you’ll see paddleflap rhinopea, bobtail squid, frogfish, octopus and nudibranch. We suggest you take your camera.

Being the only dive resort in the area, it’s likely that you’ll be the only divers on site. The dive centre provides full equipment (Mares) and 12L tanks as part of your package.
