Located in the highlands of Santa Cruz, Casa Natura is a small family run lodge with a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for those looking to unwind and enjoy the nature of the Galapagos.
Surrounded by the forests of the highlands, the lodge is a peaceful retreat yet only a 15 minute drive from the main town of Puerto Ayora. It is perfectly located to enjoy a variety of activities, as well as immersing yourself in the incredible flora and fauna of this unique destination.
The family run property features 14 rooms over two floors including one suite, accommodating those travelling alone, as well as double, triple and quad bedded rooms. All feature air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower and private balcony. The wooden furniture is representative of the local area.
Facilities include a restaurant and social areas in which to relax or chat to fellow guests about your experiences. There’s a self-guided trail around the grounds as well as a massage service, yoga and bikes for hire (all on request). The property provides a shuttle bus service to Puerto Ayora at set times and is a five minute drive to the small town of Bellavista, featuring lava tunnels and the starting point for some hikes and horse riding trails.
This is a great place to stay if you want to disconnect and explore the island. From here you can participate in all kinds of activities from wildlife encounters to hiking, kayaking, diving and snorkelling.
