Batu Karang is a small boutique property on the island of Nusa Lembongan overlooking the Badung Strait to Bali and home to flourishing reefs and manta rays.

Built into the hillside this 5-star retreat is an oasis set in style, offering pure relaxation and a traditional, yet sophisticated holiday experience. The resort features twin and double rooms and traditional Balinese villas, each set amongst the greenery, complete with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooom and modern amenities, with panoramic views of Bali and the magnificent Mount Agung. For those travelling as a family or larger group, there are two 3-bedroom self-contained villas perched at the top of the property. A complimentary buggy service operates throughout the resort and broadband internet access is available.

Facilities include the Lulur Day Spa, a small gym, three swimming pools (including a 23metre lap pool), steam room, conference room, tour desk and day lounge (a multipurpose area for guests to relax). Most meals are taken at the Muntigs Bar & Restaurant at the heart of the resort and during the day the Deck Café located along the boardwalk waterfront, is a popular place for snacks, drinks and lunch. For divers, it's a short transfer each morning to the dive centre from here.

Nusa Lembongan is renowned for its scuba diving, surf breaks and snorkelling opportunities. It is a very relaxed place to visit.

Bali Diving Academy

Daily boat diving is operated by Bali Diving Academy based a short walk along the beach. Visit the local dive sites of Nusa Lembongan as well as Manta Point. For the best chance of a mola mola encounter, visit Sep-Oct.
